AM: With a special morning program on Shed Antler Hunting presented by UKC Judge Brian Schlomann
Lunch: Sandwiches and beverages will be provided by NFGRC. Please bring a salad or dessert to pass.
All ages and abilities of dogs and handlers welcomed! Should be a fun day for all!
The day will begin at 10:00 am with a shed antler hunt program by UKC judge Brian Schlomann. Brian, who also runs his Chessies in AKC Retriever Hunt Tests, will give us an overview of this rapidly growing sport, do some demos with both beginning and advanced dogs, and then provide opportunities for members to work their own dogs at a beginning level.
We will then break for lunch (sandwiches and beverages provided by the club) and our Summer Membership Meeting. Following the lunch meeting, we will get to learn and practice some fun and effective yard drills and, if Ellen’s crop conditions allow, have a chance to run some land set-ups for all levels of dogs in the afternoon.
Please note we will not have water marks available this day.
This event is always a great time for both members and their dogs… don’t miss it! It’s also a wonderful opportunity for prospective members to see what NFGRC is all about, so be sure to invite any interested family or friends.
